Results Slide problems

I hope someone can please help. I have created a template which is hopefully going to be used accross the entire company, however I have spent almost a week now trying to tweak bits of it to make it right. Its a system emulation, with an Intro, View, Try, Test and Quiz. There is a Results slide at the end of the TEST mode which doesn't seem to be populating the results and will not let me review the answers. There is also one at the end of the Quiz which does work and I have a final results slide which should take score from both the others- I have set the passmark to be 80%  I also wanted each mode watched to increase the completion rate of the course, and not just make it 100% completed after doing the Test mode.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am about to pack it all in and start again!!

Thanks for sharing a copy of your file.

It looks like the Results slide you built for the Test mode wasn't set to show the correct variable for that section of the quiz. I tested adding in a new Results slide and that one correctly showed the variable value and the Review trigger worked. Although you can customize the slide design, you'll want to keep the variable values listed as they were when you inserted a slide and the triggers that are automatically included for the Review button. 

For your second results slide attached to the Quiz section, it looks like you inserted that as a Survey results slide. Those don't have a score associated with them, so you would want to use a Quiz results slide to be able to combine the scores on your master results slide. 

When you include one results slide set to track two others, you'll have two options for how the score should work: 

  • User must pass each quiz: Select this option if learners must pass each individual quiz (represented by the tracked result slides) in order to pass the overall course (represented by the final result slide). If learners fail any quiz in the course, then they fail the entire course.
  • Combine points from each quiz: Select this option if you want the scores from all tracked result slides to be added together as the final score for the course, then enter a percentage in the Passing Score field. In this scenario, a learner could fail one or more of the individual quizzes and still pass the overall course.
