Resume Slide Once User Has Visited All Slides

Jun 21, 2016

I am creating a training in which the master slide has links to a large number of content slides to visit. In each of theses slides, is a interaction and a question. I want to resume the timeline automatically on my master slide once the user has visited all of the slides with added content and answered each of the questions.

I have tried using the buttons the user clicks in order to visit a slide and having the timeline resume once all of the buttons are in the visited state. The idea being once all slides are visited, the timeline on the master slide would resume. This did not work.

I have tried assigning a variable to change upon completion of each question slide so that the timeline would resume once all variables are changed to true. The idea being, the slide would resume once all variables are true. This did not work.

If it were not for the question, I could create layers to have the user visit. Unfortunately, because I ask questions to see if the user understands the content, I cant get the same functionality out of a layer.

If anyone knows how I might go about this, it would be extremely helpful.

Can you tell us what you mean by "resume the timeline"? Do you mean that you want the timeline to start at a specific point after they complete the question? Or that you want the timeline to pick up wherever they were when they left the slide?

The "resumed saved state" option may work for the latter.
