I want users to retake the quiz if they fail it. I have put in a 'retake test' button which takes users back to the beginning and set all the question slides to reset to initial state. This works for all the slides except the fill in the blank slide which retains the original text entry. Can I set it so that the TEB is blank when students retake the test?
I have the same issue with the re-take where I set the TEBs to blank when the timkeline starts but on the retake it always say the answer is wrong. I've triple checked logic. It all works if you get the answer right the first time but not if you have to re-take the quiz! Any ideas?
Hi. It seems like this issue never got resolved since Staff has not answered. Just curious, but have either of you sought out support from Articulate on this or submitted a "feature request"? Seems like you both had to jump through some hurdles to try to get this working as you expected, and indeed as I would expect for this function to work. If you have come up with a solution, please post it so we can all benefit from what you have learned.

Hi Paul, I haven't tested this, so I don't know if it's going to work for you but you could try adding an extra variable in the form of :
Change value of variableTEB to {blank} when user clicks "Retake Quiz" button
and make sure the trigger comes before the "Jump to slide" trigger.
Hope it helps,
Alex
Alex,
Thanks for that...I had a deadline so in the end I went for the simple option and changed it to a multi choice question.
I will give your suggestion a try though
Appreciate the feedback
Paul
