I was able to test the Restrict and the Locked menu features. When these are activated you can't use the menu just the prev and next buttons. Is this correct?
Hi Robyn! Here's how the sidebar menu should work when using those navigation options:
Restricted: This means learners can view the current slide and any slide they previously viewed, but they can't jump ahead or skip over slides using the course menu.
Locked: This means learners can only view slides in the order you've designed. They can't jump ahead or skip over slides, nor can they go back to any previously viewed slides using the course menu.
Did you have a chance to test the output in SCORM Cloud? If so, what did you find there?
HI, thank you for the response. These features did work when you use the previous/next navigation, but not when you have the menu turned on. You can't navigate using the mene. SO, we are not going to lock this down :)
Thanks, Robyn! If you thinking something isn't working quite right, we want to know about it. Share your course with us here, and we can take a closer look!
- We restrict menu navigation and It works fin for us.
- Having the menu visable or not does not impact the functionality of course navigation.
- When you retrict menu, make sure every single slide, or entire section is retricted.
In our case... Menu is viable. but user can not click forward, but they can click on the previously visited slides. Seekbar is disabled ( Always disabled) Next Button is visable when the video is completed.
Thanks for sending in a case. I see that you worked with Cleo and it looks like he was able to clarify the settings you should implement to have the navigation as you described. If you need more help feel free to respond to Cleo's email or let us know here!

It works when I publish in Review 360.
Hi Robyn
which LMS are you using?
Have you tried uploading and testing in Scormcloud - that might point to an issue with your LMS that needs checking out.
I am using TalentLMS. I have them researching for me. Thanks.
