You may find that right-click triggers aren't currently working in Flash output.
We're investigating this issue and will post additional information here as it becomes available.
In the meantime, we recommend viewing the HTML5 version of your course if right-click triggers are required. You can force the HTML5 output to launch by default by linking directly to the story_html5.html file in your published output (rather than the story.html file).
This seems to be after the latest update. I have just published to CD and LMS and right click does not work. Thankfully I had already uploaded an earlier version for Users and that does work. All advice and suggestions will be gratefully received.
Yes, it's within Update 5 of Storyline 2 so we've shared that with our QA team for additional review and investigation. I'm glad you had already published and upload so that you'll be able to use that set up.
Hi, Ashley when we'll get the updated version of SL2. I am still facing the problem with the right click. If any other Idea u've that can resolve this issue, Please share. can it be resolve through by using Javascript? Please help.
Hi Vimal! We do not have a timeline on when this will be corrected. I am not a Javascript expert, so I will defer to the community on that. If you feel that you need to revert to a previous update, please reach out to our support team here.
Hi Josh! Update 6 resolved an issue with Chrome 44. I do not have an update to share at this time as it is still in the hands of our QA Team and we do not release product roadmap information.
We at Philips face the same problem. We can't update to the latest version if it's not solved. Leslie, is it correct to understand that it's not solved in version 6?
I know the work around, but we can't force the LMS unless we changed the manifest file, which we don't want. Would be way easier if we (also) had the option to publish to html5 only instead. I already submitted this as a feature request as well.
As mentioned above, Update 6 only addressed the Chrome 44 issue.

Is it really LMS dependent? I doubt that. I believe that in the published LMS manifest file, the start file is defined (index_lms.html). I wonder if it helps if I change this manually, but if it's that easy, why not having an option in Storyline so that it's published correctly?
I understand Sjoerd and I see where you submitted a feature request detailing your need as well. This goes to our development team, so it is appreciated.
Thanks Linda for the update and glad you got it working. We always recommend testing in the intended environment as testing locally can cause issues with the playback. I also just wanted to let you know that responding via email includes your signature here - so you are welcome to edit the post to remove that information if you wish. It's entirely your call.

I'm running into the same issue and unfortunately am not able to have our LMS pull the HTML5 output. Hopefully this will be fixed soon.
We'll keep you all posted here Jacob.

Any news on whether this is resolved in update 6 or planned somewhere beyond? I cannot update until this is resolved.

Thanks Lesie. To my understanding it's not easy to have the LMS always open the html5 in the package and ignore the flash. Is that correct?
Hi Sjoerd!
I know that can be an issue, but is probably LMS dependent (not my expertise).
I'd invite you to reach out to our support team so that is not an issue for you :)

@Sjoerd
version 6 also have the same problem . it's not fixed.
Hi all,
You may find that right-click triggers aren't working on the base slide layers in your Articulate Storyline 2 Flash output.
This issue was fixed in Update 7 for Storyline 2. Install the latest version of Storyline 2 to take advantage of the new features and fixes, then republish your course.
Great news!
