Rotate an Object smoothly for a certain degree (After trigger)

Aug 25, 2020

Hey guys! I have searched out the forum because there were similiar treads but nothing seems to work for my idea.

The course I am working right now shows the controls of a drone. Right now I am showing the tilt control. So I need the following to happen:

-After a trigger (f. e. state of an invisible rectangle sets to "normal") the drone has to rotate 10 degrees ccw smoothly (thats the tilt). In the same animation, the drone should move to the left with a motion path. Idk if thats possible but it would be awesome! If you cant combine both animations I would like to know only the first part (trigger -> turn object a specific degree)

Thanks in advance!
Lucas

Here's my first try (and I am not great at these things so I hope someone has a better way). It uses a dial, rotating in one degree increments every .1 seconds (the shortest I could go), to give the tilt, and then immediately flies out. If you click on picture 1 and look at the dial tools, you will see my settings for the one degree increments. The timing is done by moving an off-screen object along a motion path and then jumping back in time to do it again until the 10 degree motion is completed. I probably should have used a DeLorean instead of a drone but oh well.

Hi Lucas,

My English is not very good but I will do my best.

To my knowledge it is not possible to add 2 animations of this type at the same time (but maybe it is possible and I don't know how to do it).

However, maybe you can put them one after the other?

Otherwise the option that is possible would be to create in advance your animations in GIF format and play them with a trigger: I just made an example, if it can help you.
