Rotating images

Jan 18, 2013

Hi! New user, here. Been trying out Storyline all day and so far, it's great. Was wondering if there was a way to create a rotating image that changes on its own without resorting to Flash. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Hi Irene,

Attached is an example with images rotating (if I understand correctly what you're looking for). Basically, you adjust the entrance point of each image via the Timeline based on how long you want each image to linger (in this case, 2 seconds each) and then add entrance animations of your choice to smooth out the transitions...

Hope this helps!

Hi Irene!

I modified the example a bit. You basically just have to play with the timeline to create the rotating image in the order/duration you want. As far as I know, there's no way to 'loop' a timeline sequence the way you can in Flash? You'll have to manually replicate the looping via the timeline, extending and duplicating images as necessary for the entire duration of the slide...
