I am attempting to make an assessment that pulls questions from an item bank randomly each time the user takes it. I have an idea of how to do this, but I want to make sure it's the most efficient process possible. What is the best practice in creating this type of setup?

Storyline has the right tool for the job -- question banks! You put questions into a bank, then draw them out when you need them in your course. Each question draw can display an entire question bank or, if you’d prefer, just a random subset of questions from the bank.
