I'm brand new to Storyline and am having challenges creating a simple hotspot question after several attempts. I only need a few areas on the slide to appear as hotspots.
There are four areas to select (four hotspots), one of which is the correct answer.
I am using the player's Submit button to return feedback.
Even with no content on the slide, the entire slide itself acts like a giant hotspot.
Any thoughts on how to resolve this? My file includes some translucent layers as I was thinking transparent layers might be needed. I'm just not sure how to approach this.
Welcome to E-Learning Heroes, and happy to help clarify here!
When using a hotspot interaction, the learner does have the ability to click anywhere on the slide to submit the interaction.
It looks like you've clearly shown what options the user has to pick from by placing pink ovals. I would just state that in the question instructions to direct the learner.

So it is working as intended then. Thank you, Ren!
