I encountered an issue this week where I made changes to my Storyline file, and all changes saved while in the file. But when I closed the file, then re-opened the file, some or many of my changes completely disappeared. Any insight as to why the changes would not be saving even though they appear to save while the file is open?
A common cause of data loss is working directly on a network drive. This behavior, along with steps to reduce the risk of data loss, is explained in this article.
Thanks Joe. I do work locally, not on a network or cloud. I did an uninstall, then reinstall of SL and it appears to have resolved it so far. If it happens again I will open a case. Thank you.

If you're working locally, try doing a repair of Storyline 360 to see if this helps correct the behavior. If the issue persists, open a case with our support team here for further assistance.
