Saving courses to shared network
Sep 02, 2021
Many on our team are working from home now and rely on VPN connection to save courses to our shared network drive. We are actively working to move our content to a sharepoint site where we don't need to use VPN. In testing the process, we've tried to save a new project to the SP site. The LMS file saves but Articulate shuts down right afterward (we don't get the option to zip or save our file). Can you provide any insight why this is happening?

Always save before publishing, in case something goes awry with publishing.
I don't know why (something about SL and SP failing to communicate), but I do know how to avoid the problem. I would recommend saving, publishing (and zipping if necessary) locally, and uploading to SP.
Hi Vicky,
We recommend that you work locally with your software, files, and assets. Here is some additional documentation:
Create, Edit, and Publish Projects on Your Local Hard Drive
Thank you both. I figured that was the case but wanted to make sure. Appreciate your responses.
