I am working on creating a large and complex site where the users will need to be able to leave the storyline artefact and then return at some later time. I am marrying it to Bb LMS and it does a great job of showing users where they have been and what new options are available but each time the user leaves that artefact, to say, go to another website, or just to have a break, when they return, the slate is wiped clean and they no longer have a sense of their progress through the activities. Help?
It sounds like you'll want to look at the resume behavior as described here. This will control the course as a whole, but not where the user was on an individual slide, as the point that they left off it not saved per the slide when closing the course.
Ah - it seems so easy now. I think this can work for me, as I was looking at having an opening slide with indication of a link accessed through the state change function. Will see how this goes. Always great and immediate help in this community. Very much appreciated.
