I build a simulation using screenshots and hotspots. I want to give the student an opportunity to try twice before the slide moves forward and keep track of their attempts/failed attempts. Is there a way to do this? I did not record a video. So far i've only been able to add layers to show an incorrect message if they click on the wrong hotspot but i can't figure out how to only allow them to try twice and how to keep track of their attempts.
In the question slide, make sure you are on form view. On the top you should see an ATTEMPT field. You can change this to as many times you would like the student to try.
Looks like Jerson has popped in to assist you here, but I wanted to pop in to share our documentation in case helpful to you or someone else that may run across this thread in the future:
By default, Articulate Storyline gives learners one attempt to answer each graded question in your quiz, but you can change that. Here's how to give learners more than one attempt for questions they answer incorrectly.
