We are using Storyline 360 and have added resources that link out within the player. However, when a user clicks on a link, the parent browser window is launched and a new tab displays the resource clicked. When finished, the user can x out of the browser tab but there is no way of knowing that the Scorm course is still active behind the parent browser window. Does anyone know of a workaround for this.
It's typically up to a particular browser how links are handled in terms of opening in a new tab vs. window - but the additional windows opening to initially launch the file and hiding the course sound like something on the LMS side of things. Have you looked at testing it in another site such as SCORM Cloud? It's an industry standard for LMS Testing, so a good place to take a look at how it behaves there.
