Hi All. I think the answer to this question is "no" but wanted to check first. A customer wants to sell a SCORM package to their client and need it to deactivate itself a year after the sale has completed. Is this possible? I know it can be done on an LMS but I need the SCORM to be able to turn itself off. Is it possible?
The answer is no, Storyline itself doesn't provide the means for that. You could do this with some Javascript inserted into the module, but you would have to provide a new module if they wanted to extend another year. I would be looking at a delivery system to provide this functionality though.
This is exactly what i am looking for. I believe that a new variable typology must be implemented to manage dates. I believe that this can be really helpful especially for companies that have to install SCORM packages on the LMS of the client.

Does anyone know what the javascript would be and how to trigger it, as mentioned by Sam?
Hi Michael, I saw in another thread that Owen Holt shared sample JS code to do this on another thread.
