SCORM - is there another way to create a file to upload?

Feb 25, 2019

Is there another way to create a file instead of using SCORM? We use a program called EtQ (this is not an LMS system) and we are having lots of issues uploading and getting things to work correctly. We have found work arounds but it has been very time consuming. We have reached out to EtQ and they do not support SCORM in all of our modules. Normally we use jpegs, mp3 and other video files but SCORM is giving us so many issues. Any recommendations or help will be greatly appreciated. If we can't get things to work smoothly we may have to discontinue using articulate for training due to our system and I don't want that to happen.

Sharon,

You can publish as AICC or Tin Can API but you may have the same issue if it isn't an LMS.

Do you use a SCORM quiz in your course where the learners score needs to be passed to EtQ to record the results? If not, publish as Web and you upload that file. Basically, it's a web page and it should work in most instances. you will probably have to zip the folder and tell EtQ which file to start with.
