SCORM Resume - Storyline plays audio, not animation

In the middle of a slides audio, if I EXIT Storyline (on cloud.scorm.com, a SCORM LMS), when I resume, the course is playing the audio on the suspended slide but not the animations.
Proceeding on, the next slide is fine, clicking PREV, the suspended slide doesn't play properly at all.
I have a couple of suspects:
- The EXIT invokes a lightbox to say "Are you sure", resume returns to the lightbox with the base slide playing audio
- The "Automatically decide" when revisiting may be a problem.
I'll test to see if either of these can be tweaked to solve the problem. In the meantime, if this is a known bug with a workaround, please let me know.
PS: Same erroneous behavior in IE 9 and Google Chrome.

Add-on question.
The EXIT tab invokes a lightbox to question "Are you sure?".
If the student is sure and exits, can clicking the button both close the lightbox so that the course is suspended on the active slide, and exit the course?
This seems like two terminal actions. I don't see any way to achieve both in the lightbox.
Well, the good news is if I omit the Lightbox, the student exits immediately without a challenge, but the course will resume where it left off.
Interesting side note: Setting the slide "When Revisiting" to "Resume Saved State" - I found the slide always resumes at the beginning. This is fine, but I have to now ask: What state is saved on the slide using this option?
