Hi I made my screen recording and set as single video and I want to insert it on a slide layer is it possible? So far I seem to have to have my intro on one screen and then set a trigger to jump to another slide with the video on it to view the video. I wanted to have it on a slide layer in the same slide set so that the intro is the base slide and the video is on a slide layer,
I have looked at the tutorials and can't find how to do this.
I understand what you are saying as have set same up for other objects etc but I don't seem to be able to load the screen recording onto a screen layer only onto a base layer (bit annoying)!
Do you know if this can be done am using SL 1 and I don't know if that makes a difference.

I have created this in SL2. Base layer > Button (click to view video) > trigger to show layer
Video on layer with trigger > hide this layer when media completes
Seems to work for me
