Screen Recording a Selected Window

Oct 05, 2018

Hello, When recording my screen and selecting a particular window (Windows 10), I have to manually adjust the recording area as there is always an empty space on each sides and at the bottom. At first, I thought it was trying to cover the window's drop shadow but I removed it via the Windows settings and the empty space is still there. Am I the only one experiencing this?

Hello, Simon! A couple of initial thoughts come to mind:

  • What Windows Display setting are you using?
    1. Right-click your desktop and select Display settings.
    2. Click the Display tab in the upper left corner of the window that appears.
    3. Under Scale and layout, select 100% from the drop-down list.
  • Are you viewing Storyline while using dual monitors?
  • What version and update of Storyline are you using?
