Screen Recording with a Mac

Hello Everyone,
I have submitted a trouble ticket, but wanted to throw this out to the community as well. I am helping a professor work on a few Storyline presentations and have come across some issues with using Storyline on a Mac. We have solved some of these, but for some reason, we cannot record the screen. It either buzzes or stops on 1 when counting down. Has anyone else encountered this issue? I didn't know if it was due to running programs in the Mac environment so Storyline would not record anything that was not windows specific? Just throwing out questions. I saw the case you're working on with John, and he shared the following information:
Could you please check if the user is following the best practices for using Articulate Storyline on Parallels listed in the article below?
If the issue still occurs, then please follow the troubleshooting steps in this article to fix unexpected or erratic behavior in Articulate Storyline.
Feel free to let John or I know if you're still having difficulty after checking into those articles.

Thank you for the reply. I have forwarded on John's reply to the professor and hopefully we can get this resolved. I just wanted to make sure there was not a bigger issue when it comes to screen recording on a Mac. I use a PC so I figured I would call in the experts.

No problem Ed. I'm also on a PC - so haven't tested the Mac myself, but I know a lot of our Super Heroes use Macs, so hopefully if they've run into something Mac specific they'll be able to share it here.
