Screencast text entry

Hi everyone,

I'm creating a training with some software simulation slides (1080x720) in Storyline 360. I've recorded my screen (720x405) and inserted the recording as a step-by-step test. The hotspot-slides for the clicks work perfectly fine, but the slides with text entry fields changed the size of my inserted recording so that the recorded screen overlaps with my custom background items. I have run into this before and this time around I was hoping to find a longer lasting solution than deleting and manually recreating the slide (especially because it affects every third slide in my course).

Any suggestions to what I could look into? I browsed the forum already but couldn't find a solution to my problem.

Hi Leslie,

Attached is an extract of my project that shows my issue. The first and the third slide have hotspots on them showing where I clicked during the screen recording and how big my screen is. The second slide is a text entry which changed the size of the screen recording. I am trying to change the inserted screen on my second slide to be the same size as on my first and third slide.

Thank you so much for sharing your project! I'm also noticing the screencast size is different on the Text Entry field slide. I'd like our Support Engineers to take a second look to determine what might be happening and offer a solution. I've created a case on your behalf with our Support Engineers.
