Running IE 9 as default browser. Publishing to the web. Downloaded most current version of Adobe Flash Player. Works on one computer on my office network. Will not work on two others I have attempted- even with Flash Player 10.
Will it help to disable player controls?
Help!!! This is the project I was going to use to sell my boss on buying Storyline. So far, he is not impressed.
Yes, I have tried this and downloading an MP4 file plays; however, my boss recorded the screencasts and gave me the link. I do not have the file as an MP4. I was hoping that I could utilize the screencast without having my boss complete an extra (and unnecessary) step.
I used a software tool (getFLV) to download the video to my PC.
I use it to download YouTube videos when I have permission to download the videos and use directly in the course (which I prefer).
I'm working on a big project for a company right now and they posted a lot of stuff on YouTube and then misplaced the original videos. So I got permission from them to "snatch the videos" from YouTube so I can use the videos directly in Storyline.
There's a lot of other tools out there that do the same. getFlv seemed to work around some of the restrictions I found in downloading from some sites so I got it.
I will try it- just downloaded the free trial. I will use this to add the video to my published content but continue to try for an answer to the screenr issue. Thanks again.

Also, loaded screenr content by:
Insert>video>Insert video from Website> paste embed code.
Hi!
Just curious. Have you tried downloading the Screenr as a MP4 file to your PC and then using that directly in the course?

Do you have a URL to the Screenr? I'd like to try something.

Try this.
Thank you. Which video to download service did you use?
However, I am still curious as to the original issue with playing Screenr in the published output.

NP! Good luck with your project.
BTW, getFLV's interface is often challenging but you'll get it.
