Is the selected state with the glowing outline available as an option in the ribbon when building 'Pick One' Freeform slides in Storyline or only if built in Quizmaker?
Hi Alyssa, There use to be a default selected state for 'Pick One' and 'Pick Many' interactions. It was much faster to build with these. Are these dafault selected states no longer available?
I was confused because I was looking for them to operate the same way. The difference between Articulate products sometimes is confusing because there is a lack of consistent ways of doing things across the board. There seem to be several one of exceptions. No worries, I'm a fast learner, just need direction/assistance from time to time.

Hi Philip,
You can absolutely add a glowing selected state in Storyline. Here's how!

You got it, Philip! Objects will automatically adopt a blue glow Selected state when you add them to a Pick One or Pick Many slide.
This video demonstrates how that works!
Thanks for the video, Alyssa.
Where can I edit those default selected states.
Do I have to click on the object and 'edit states'?
Is it not the same quick editing options as in Quizmaker.
*See attached screenshot of how they are editable in Quizmaker.
Thanks in advance!
That's right, Philip. The method is a bit different in Storyline.
You'll select the object on the slide, then click Edit States. From there, choose the Selected state, and make any changes you need.
Thank you for clarifying, Alyssa!
