A object in a slide has 5 triggers attached to it. I need to copy those 5 triggers and attach them to a different object.
I am not able to select multiple triggers at once (using pressing shift, control or any other way). What I am doing right now is copying one trigger at a time and pasting it to the target object.
I would like to know is there any way by which I can select multiple triggers at once and paste them to different object.
Hi, Jazzmine -- Thanks for reaching out! And if there are features or functions you would like to see made available, I thought I'd stop in to share this form as a way to pass your ideas to our Product Development team.
Depends on what sort of object the triggers are attached to. You might be able to duplicate the object, which carries along tis triggers, then change the object.
This is pretty frustrating. It would greatly improve development time if you could copy and paste all of an objects triggers to another.
Also, a hot key command for moving objects on the timeline up or down such as ( ctrl+shft+[ ). Since if you have more than one selected you can't drag them up or down for some reason. You have to go find the command in Format > Arrange>Send Backward. This takes forever.
I have attached this conversation to a feature request that we have for the ability to copy/paste multiple triggers at a time.
You can certainly choose more than one item at a time on the timeline to shift them on the timeline (left/right), but the ability to move them up/down is limited to one.
I've submitted this feature request on your behalf as well.
Yep, I'd like to "upvote" this feature request as well. Would be such a timesaver on multiple levels, since I usually make mistakes and troubleshooting what trigger I missed between one slide and the next is a pain!
The new trigger panel allows quick reassignment of triggers so you can assign them to a rectangle and copy and paste to another slide easily. Then reassign the object not multiple cut and pate yet but a very simple work around.
Great news! We just released another update for Storyline 360 and included a few important fixes and new features that you'll see in the release notes here.
First, could you tell me more about what you're experiencing in the new trigger workflow? If you can record a Peek 360 video of the issue, that would be gold so we can see the problem in action!
With a little more detail, I'll do my best to help!

you can only paste one trigger at a time
That stinks.

I second that!!!! I have 50 slides that I need to do this to on a weekly basis.

Unless I'm unaware of this shortcut?

That's awesome! Thanks, Leslie.
Thanks Leslie. Both would be a great addition.
Agree.
Yes, this needs to be fixed!
The copying multiple triggers was requested as far back as 7 years ago after a quick search.
How's it coming along..??
Hi David,
Thanks again for reaching out! No updates yet, but rest assured, we're adding every voice to the conversation, and we appreciate you following up!
Copying multiple triggers across slides and layers would be helpful. Thanks. -Jim

The new trigger panel in 360 will speend this up you can group them and transfer to a shape cut and paste and then transfer to the slide timeline.
You will not be able to move cue points this way, but you could duplicate the slide as a layer
Can you show an example please? You lost me at "transfer to the slide timeline".
I ask for the feature too to copy multiple triggers. Currently I have more than 1.100 in one storyline file.

This feature is fantastic!!
Hi Team,
I was also facing the same issue. But now it has been resolved.
We need to save the file and reopen, after that we can copy paste as many trigger you want
