Setting up an optional left panel in Player

Jul 24, 2015

My training group likes the look of the player without the left menu but we also need to have the Notes available for hearing impaired users.  Putting the Notes as a link above the course is clumsy and blocks some of the content.  Is there a way to put a button somewhere on the player or in the course that opens the left panel?  I thought this feature was available in Presenter but I haven't used that for awhile.  Thanks for any help in this or other suggestions on best practices for closed captioning.

Hi, Karen -- Unfortunately, I am not aware of a way to turn on an optional left panel for Notes in SL2 at this time. (If you would like to share your request with our Product Developers, please use this form to do so).

With respects to closed captioning, you may want to check out the following for lots of useful information:

I hope that helps and please feel free to let us know if you still need help! :)
