I have numbered boxes on a slide. I've set a trigger so that when they click a box, a layer with an example will appear over the same box. I've set it so the base layer can still be clicked on with the new layers showing.
When I preview the slide, nothing happens when I click a trigger.
I've used a similar interaction before with the same settings, so I'm not sure why it isn't working now. (I've attached the slide in question.)
I'm totally stumped. I can't see anything that should have stopped your file from working as you described. What do you think about switching from Show Layer to Change State of...?
change the triggers on your layers - you have it set to hide the layer when the timeline starts so as soon as the learner clicks the layer shows but the trigger is hiding it - change to hide layer when timeline ends

Your layers all have a trigger "Hide layer this layer When the timeline starts"
These triggers are causing the layer to close quicker than you can see the layer display. Remove these triggers and you should be fine.
