Show only content at current time marker?

Aug 10, 2017

Is there a way, similar to video editing software where the project window will only show what is on screen at that current time marker in the timeline rather than all the layers in the slide?

It's really annoying when you have multiple full screen images and a variety of text boxes that overlap each other, to have to uncheck all the eyeballs to get to the content you want. It also makes it really hard to compose new stuff in the same slide, especially when you have images blown up larger than the slide window, so you have to hide all those image layers.

It seems like such a basic thing this software should have. It takes so much longer to have to build and edit things this way. I can't believe anyone would design a piece of software like this without this functionality, so I must be missing this master switch somewhere.

Hi Mike,

You could also look at using the timeline preview to show the items as they'd appear on the slide, but while editing the slide all the items will show. Individual slide layers can also be set to hide the base layer using the small "eye" icon that Brian mentioned.
