Is it possible to show a layer after a set amont of time? For example, if there is no activity on the base layer after say 20 seconds, I'd like to show/display a new layer with instructions about moving on.
Could you add a trigger that shows the layer- when the timeline ends. Then depending on how long the timeline was, this would control when the layer and message appeared.
Hello, I have created a trigger: show layer - when user clicks button. How can I add there condition that layer will be shown not immediately, but 2 sec after person has clicked the button?
You can have the objects on your layer only start at 2 seconds on the timeline. Even though the layer will open right away, the user won't realize it since it will be blank for the first 2 seconds:

Hope that helps

You could add a shape on the base layer (place it off screen so that it is not visible) at the 20 second mark on the timeline.
Add a trigger to the shape that says show layer X when the timeline starts.
This will trigger the layer to display when the timeline reaches the 20 second mark.
Hi Chris,
Perhaps my Screenr will give you some ideas: Create an unobtrusive, timed prompt that reminds Learners to click Next
Perhaps could apply it and meet your goal.
Thanks everyone, problem solved.
Rebecca, that Screenr was a great help.

Hi, Sandra.
Thank you for reaching out!

Let me know if this works!
Meanwhile, be prepared for the learner to click 600 times on everything in sight while they are waiting for some result from their first click : )
Hey, Walt.
That's a good point! There's always this alternative:
