I've seen several previous discussions about this issue, but as far as I can tell this has never been resolved.
I'm using numeric variables for various scenarios involving money, so I need the variable to display as $0.50 instead of $0.5, for example. I can probably cobble something together using a carefully-aligned hidden text box, but this seems like a very common use case for numeric variables - is there a way to just change this as a setting in Storyline yet?
I tried replicating what you are looking to achieve on my end, and unfortunately, it is not possible to add an additional zero to the end of the decimal number to see $0.50 populate in Storyline 360.
I did, however, find a related community discussion that provides a JavaScript workaround that could be of help:
