I have installed Storyline 2 in a Windows 8.1 installed in a MacBook Pro. But when I open the storyline the interface text of whole storyline windows looked too zoomed in as in the font sizes are really small of the file menu and all the other windows.
Is there a way I can change the Storyline to look a bit bigger?
Windows 8 Right-click your desktop, and select Personalize. Click Display in the lower left corner of the window that appears. Select the 100% radio button. Click Apply. Please note that you may be required to restart your computer for the change to take effect.
but that makes my whole windows go so small including the cursor. and articulate even smaller.. mine is a mac book 15 inch.
The DPI setting is a whole computer/system setting - so it will impact all of Windows, but Storyline will not behave correctly if you're using a different DPI setting that what Wendy shared.
But what I am trying to say is, when I put the computer to that setting, as in when I put drag the slider to smaller in display settings, the whole windows becomes too small. It is too small that I cant even see the bar texts. Anyone got a solution to it?
What's the resolution of your MacBook? I've heard of a few users on HiDPI monitors or computers that the Storyline UI is too small or scaled oddly - and we've shared this with our QA team for review. In the meantime, a few users have shared that changing the horizontal resolution to 1920 pixels or lower has assisted with the issue. I'll also included this thread in the report filed with our QA team so that I can provide any additional updates here.

Hi Ajesh
when you are developing in SL your DPI should be set to 96DPI - see this article

Thanks Ajesh, and we'll keep you posted - but in the meantime, please use the workaround I mentioned if able.
Hi Ashley,
Do you know how to change the horizontal resolution to 1920 pixels or
lower?
Hi Ajesh,
I don't know how to change that, nor specifically on a Mac how to change resolution. Have you searched through Apple's support information?
