SL freezes when entering the title in the player properties dialog

When I paste text into the title dialog box in the Player Properties dialog box Storyline freezes. This happens quite frequently and I have to shut it down in Task Manger and restart the application, Sometimes I have to do this a couple of times.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there any known solution to avoid this?

Hi Steve,

Thanks for reaching out and sharing what you are experiencing in your software.

I opened a project and I'm unable to recreate the behavior and do not experience any freezing.

I'm curious if the issue happens in any course you are working on or just this particular one?

If you cannot re-create the issue in a new course, I would advise you to import the file into a new one and proceed.
If it's happening in any/all files, you should conduct a repair of your software.

Hi Leslie, thanks for your reply. It seems to happen on every file. After I restart it once or twice it seems to clear up so it's tedious. I'm wondering - is that preview rendering Flash based? Could it have something to do with Flash?

I have a template I tend to copy, edit and reuse. I'm wondering if I follow your advice and create a fresh shell then import the temple slides into it and save. It might flush the problem.

I'll give it a try.
