SL2 ignoring justification of text set by the master

I am working on a load of modules for work which are initially branded in our company brand then depending on the client are rebranded for them. Sometimes the nature of the client's brand means I have to move titles and subtitles from left justified to right. When I do this in the master the slide respects the repositioning of the text fields but ignores the change in justification. The upshot of this is I have to go to EVERY SINGLE SLIDE and change the text manually from left to right aligned. Why is the slide ignoring the justification of the text?

I meant to mention, I have been through and reset all of the slides, and I have tried making a fresh new slide and it still ignores the text alignment
