SL2 not loading and can't uninstall.

Hi folks, I am having a real problem with SL2. Ironically, the problem started after I installed update 1 and restarted.
When I launch the program it tries to go through the installation sequence then fails. When I try to reinstall to repair it tries to uninstall, but fails and I can't uninstall in Control Panel.
I've been going back and forth with Articulate support for two weeks and have tried and number of fixes to no avail.
Anyone have a similar issue and did you resolve it?
I'm running Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit - SP 1.

I had "erratic behavior" in quizzes and wanted to uninstall and reinstall Storyline. I used the instructions in this post http://www.articulate.com/support/storyline-2/unexpected-or-erratic-behavior-in-articulate-storyline-2 and since I did those steps I am experiencing the same behavior as Mike describes.
When I try to reinstall Storyline, even as administrator, the only option I see in the dialog box is "uninstall" (no option to repair or install), which tells me that all the files were not, in fact, removed with the .bat file.
I have spoken with my internal IT department and they have NO IDEA where the lingering files are stored. Can you please help me in fully uninstalling and reinstalling Storyline? I really don't want to have to resort to wiping my hard drive to get this one program to work correctly.

PS - I am running Storyline 2 (or trying to) update 7; Win 7 - 64 bit
Lesli, I wish I had a favorable result for you, but I ended up going back and forth with Articulate support for weeks. I had to have my laptop wiped and reinstall all software. If you get your issue figured out, please post the resolution in case it happens to me again.
Yikes. Thanks, Mike. That is what I'm trying to avoid... I'm on deadline and SL is completely useless. Argh!

I will follow along on your case to see what the resolution is.
My IT is in the processing of rebuilding a hard drive for me due to this issue. It is extremely frustrating to have to go through this just to install software. I am a very frustrated customer/user.

Sorry to hear that you are having difficulty. I do not see a support case for you, so I assume that your IT Team is taking care of all of this for you.
I do not have an update to provide on Lesli above as we never received log files from the user to assist.
I didn't have any log files, and the only solution we could find was to wipe my computer and reimage. I reinstalled SL on a new hard drive and it works fine now. I hope this issue has been fixed by now because that little bug cost me about 2 days of work.

even i can not uninstall this software too... after deleting all the files from my computer and cleaning regedit i took an error says that i already have the software
I see that you've reached out to our support team, which is exactly what I was going to recommend. You should be hearing from someone soon and they should be able to assist with getting this uninstalled.
