I haven't seen this come up in Storyline 3, so thanks for letting us know what's going on. Could you share the font installer file with me? I'd like to test it out on my end.
Also, could you share a screenshot of what you see in Preview mode?
There isn't an option for MMR Bold in the font selection - I did however figure out what was going on.
For some reason there is not a solely bold version of the font - only a bold & italic version. As such, it looks like HTML5 doesn't know how to process the bold and thus displays silly characters.
Once I made the text bold & italic, problem solved. See attached screenshots for a clearer explanation.
Not sure if this is a font issue, an HTML5 issue, or a SL3 issue, but at least I've resolved it.

Ah, good find! Do you see a difference in using the Bold formatting button versus selecting Might Makes Right Bold from the font selection dropdown?
