I'm trying to find the best way to do the following:
I have a course that begins with an initial assessment and ends with a final assessment. Only the score for the final assessment needs to be included in the final score.
The client also wishes to track that each section has been completed. I have done this by inserting a results slide at the end of each section, plus an additional results slide which calculates the results for all the other results slides in the course. This is the slide which reports to the LMS.
My problem is that when published on the LMS, the scores for both quizzes are combined.
Hi Liz. I'm not sure if I'm oversimplifying this, but can you open your final results slide and make sure you don't have the results slide for the first assessment included in its tracking?
You might want to scrap the original final results slide and create a new one, just to be sure its only including the other results that you want.
It would not be sent to the LMS if it's not tracked.
If the client needs to see the user response from all sections, you may need to consider adjusting the scoring on the final or using an unsupported method shared here.
I'd reach out to your LMS admin to figure out what options you have to display and look into scoring trends or other options! Storyline will send the data for a single result slide that is detailed here, and then it'll be up to your LMS to display and interpret that.
