Hi - When I publish as html5-only in SL3, it seems to block the mobile app from working. Apparently the mobile app requires publishing with Flash included. I'm not sure why that is but ideally we'd like to publish only in html5 and have it also work with the mobile app. Is that a feature that is coming as Flash continues to fade out?
You shouldn't need the Articulate Mobile Player if you published your content with HTML5 only, since tablets inherently play HTML5 content in the browser.
Is there a reason why you'd want learners to view the content in the Articulate Mobile Player as opposed to the mobile browser? Do you need to give your learners the ability to download your content for offline viewing?
I may be misunderstanding, but did you check off the Articulate mobile player here, and use the HTML5 first option? As long as you've chosen an option that includes Flash, the AMP can be selected as well.
The HTML5 only output will be strictly limited to that, and won't include the AMP as an option.
No updates on a change to this feature yet. I'd love to know more about how this is impacting your course development and what set up you're looking to accommodate with both the HTML5 output and the Articulate Mobile Player?

Hi Alyssa - yep, we need the download capability.

Let me know if you need anything else!
Hi Ashley - yes that’s the problem. We only want html5-only and the mobile app. No flash. How soon will the mobile app be de-tethered from flash?
Thanks -
Matt
I don't have a timeline on that right now, Matt. As soon as we know more, we'll share here with you and others in the community.
Ok thank you. It's highly requested from our end...!
