I'm trying to control learner’s ability to advance by using a trigger. The trigger sets the Next button to “normal” once a variable is changed to true. This trigger to make the variable true sits on a layer within the slide. When the layer appears the next button doesn’t seem to respond to the triggers I set.
I am sure I did something wrong and this is a teachable moment for me.
Have a look at the attached and see if that's what you want. I added a slide trigger that sets the Next button initially to Disabled. Then I changed the trigger to set the Next button to Normal from 'When timeline starts' to 'When variable changes'.
