I have set a trigger to 'jump to the next slide when the timeline ends' and I have also left the next button enabled so users can skip the slide if they want to (default 'jump to next slide when user clicks next').
I published my course and now when I view it, in between these transitions or 'jump to's, the slide goes white for a split second and then continues onto the next slide as programmed.

Did you maybe duplicate a slide that had a fade transition on it?
