Slide Layers Disappear

I'm using Storyline 2 and I'm noticing some quirks in the system regarding the use of slide layers. We are using slide layers to display certain interactions, most notably a box for Closed Captioning. The problem we are having is that when the timeline for the slide ends, the slide layer disappears. At first I thought it was a simple timing issue, but I have the "Show until end of slide" option checked in every instance. I've also tried selecting "Always show on slide" but again to no avail. Has anyone else had this issue? We're really not liking that our objects decide to hide themselves when the timeline ends.

Hi Marc,
Those items you checked sound like objects on the timeline itself - but what about the slide layer properties behavior in terms of when it's set to be shown or any triggers on the slide or the layer to hide the slide layers?
If you're still having difficulty we'd love to take a look at the .story file to see if there is anything else we can spot.
I am also having the same issue in that a trigger shows a layer but when I move the mouse to hover over the layer (i have hotspots setup on the layer to show what acronyms mean) the layer disappears. I have also tried the fixes above and nothing changes. Can you help?
Hi Gael,
It's hard to say what could be happening without taking a look at the file. Are you able to share a copy of the .story file here - just that one slide with/layers would suffice.
