Slide View Variable

Sep 12, 2016

I'm new to Storyline 2 so please bear with me!  I am currently creating a course and would like to have a "completion" page that shows the learner their completion status, including their test score and if they have viewed all pages in a course.  I'd like to set the completion criteria to both 100% viewed and at least an 80% on the test.  Our LMS supports this information.  Can anyone tell me what the variable is to display the completion status on a results page?  Is this possible to do?

Thanks so much in advance!

Hi Hazel!

We have some information regarding this information within an LMS:

To report both completion status and success status to an LMS, select either Passed/Incomplete or Passed/Failed as the reporting option when publishing your Articulate Storyline content. See this article for more information.

Articulate Storyline lets you track a course either by the number of slides viewed or by a single quiz (result slide). Tracking both measurements for the same course isn't supported. Similarly, tracking multiple quiz scores in the same course isn't supported. However, you may be able to track more than one SCO (shareable content object) in a single course using one of the unsupported methods in this article.

Hopefully someone in the community will be able to assist you if they've set up something similar, but it is not a built in variable that is included on the results slide.
