Slide won't play again?

Good Morning!
I work in online education and have been teaching myself to use Storyline slowly. So far I have only used to it create presentations for some courses I am taking as a student. For my first presentation my facilitator critiqued there was no way to pause etc- so this time I used a slider and added a pause button. It works well in preview, but once I publish, when the slide has completed, if I push back it goes from slide 4 to 2 and forward from 2-4- slide 3 will only play once. Could anyone please explain how to fix this? I apologize if there's anything I have done in a strange/incorrect way- I'm just figuring things out as I go along.

Darlene, I played around with your story yesterday and I can see no reason why it would behave as you describe. In fact, I could not get it to do anything but do what you want - return to previous slides (all of them) and play correctly.
