Slider bars, markers, hotspots and oversize image.

May 07, 2015

Hi. I am wondering if anyone in the community has done what I am trying to do and not getting much luck.

I have a large image (540 x 2100 pixels) which I want as the background image for learners to explore and memorize various components in a linear way from left to right as part of the first stage of learning. So for this portion of the training I would like to set up a slider bar to allow navigation of the overall image. As markers reveal key points, the learner will be presented with the information in small and relevant manner.

Once the initial components are memorized, I intended to have hotspots only, where the previous marker were located, covering the whole image once again. This would force the memorization in a random pattern.

I have spend many hours on this already to find out that the hotspots did not follow to motion of the oversized images.

If you have an ideas, please let me know. If I get this working, I will post the results.

Thanks,

Luc

Hi, Luc!

You may want to check out the following threads for some ideas:

Hopefully, those will get you moving in the right directions, and it'd be great to hear suggestions from our community members, as well!
