Does anyone know if there is a way to see exactly where the stops are on the slider track in Storyline 2? Right now I am going in and out of preview mode trying to line up the number labels with the thumb.
That's exactly what I do, and the resource you found is perfect for explaining how to display and add new guides.
I've never used guides very heavily in SL in the past, but in recent months I've been relying on them a lot - and I find they're especially helpful in marking out where the slider stops are.
Glad that this helped you out Crystal - and I just wanted to remind you that when replying via email, your email signature may be included and you're welcome to edit that posting.
Thanks for the information, everyone! Just to confirm my understanding: it sounds like you must make the graphic match the slider stops? There is no way to change where the slider stops are set (other than adjusting with the # of stops and length of the slider)?

the slider thumb can be moved on the slide in design mode and will increment as if it was in preview
Thanks Phil! This may be a dumb question, but how do I get to design mode?
I just figured it out. Thanks again, Phil. Your comments in the community are always helpful!
Thanks Crystal for the update and I'm glad Phil was able to assist you here!
Hi Crystal!
One other thing that helps me control screen elements that I want to align with slider stops is to add a guide line to mark each stop.
Just makes my design life easier. :)

Hi Jackie,
That's a great idea. I found this post that has a section on drawing guides:

Is this what you are referring to? Do you just draw several guides on one screen based on where you see the stops in design mode (as Phil indicated)?

Maybe it'll be helpful to you too!
Thanks, Jackie!
I haven't used the guides before, but I didn't realize all the ways you can use them. This should save me a lot of time aligning things.
