I have a created a slider with 5 layers which seems to work just fine when I view it in, 'preview this slide' mode, but when I 'preview entire project' the slider jumps straight to the 4th layer skipping the first 3 altogether. Any thoughts on why this is happening?
It could be that the variable controlling the slider is referenced on another slide in the project and that it is being set to value prior to visiting the the one with the layers.
You can remove that variable from the previous slide, or set a variable on the slider page that sets it to the correct value when the user visits.
I'd agree with Deanna's first thought here - and if you're still having difficulty you are welcome to share your .story so that we can take a look at it.
