Slider - thumb missing when I revisit
Nov 14, 2014
Hi again - another slider question.
I am using a few sliders in my module. They work well, but if I revisit the slide later the thumb is missing. I tried changing the slide properties to 'reset to initial state' when revisiting and that brings the thumb back. Has anyone else had this happen? What did you do to fix it? I don't want all of my slides to reset to their initial state.
The second problem is that when I select 'reset to intial state' when revisiting it doesn't actually reset the slider to zero. While the thumb is now visible, it is not at zero. Do I have to tell it to go to zero when the timeline starts? Is this the way it is supposed to function?

At the beginning of the slide's timeline, you can try setting the variable which is connected to the slider back to zero (or at whatever position you want the thumb to be). This should reset the slider thumb.
Thanks, Michael.
Glad that Michael was able to assist you here Crystal :)
Hi everyone.
I have the same problem to reset the slider when revisit the slide.
I set to zero the variable which is connected to the slider, but doesn't work.
Please can you help me.
Thank you
Enzo
Hi Enzo,
For things such as variables and slides it's typically best if we can take a look at the .story file to see what you've got going on. You can post it here using the "add attachment" button.
Also you may want to look into the slide's revisiting properties as detailed here.
