I'm trying to sync my audio with my textual content on the slide. But every time I try to preview the audio with the text. It takes forever to play .And harder still when I want it to pause at the exact moment where I want my text to go. I do have all the pictures and audio on the local drive. I have an 8GB RAM and a 250 GB HDD. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!
Sorry to hear you're running into trouble! Is this for closed caption text or slide text? The slide timeline playhead will show everything on the slide as it plays back, but when you pause it will show the entire slide and I could see how that's tripping you up. It's an area we've shared with our team as a feature request to allow the timeline playhead/cue point to appear in real-time.
For the slowness, it sounds like the computer isn't an issue - how big is the Storyline file? How many objects and audio files are on the slide? If you'd like our team to take a look, you can share a copy of it with our Support Team!
