Slideshare

Jul 16, 2015

It seems that it is now possible to upload Storyline files to slideshare. Are there any instructions anywhere on the correct way to do so? The last article here is 4 years old and says it is not possible, but as there are thousands of them on slideshare, it is clearly now possible. However, I am sufficiently novice to not know the best way to do this.

Alternatively, is here a better way to provide an on-line demonstration for others to see?

Although I see some Articulate things on Slideshare, Slideshare themselves do not claim they are compatible. It would be a good idea because they are part of LinkedIn, and slideshare can be used with LinkedIn to share a portfolio.

So what is the recommended way to share courses with technically naive recipients?

Hi Christine,

How you share it may depend on who the users are - you could look at publishing to web and then placing on a web server or hosting solution such as Dropbox or Google drive. There are a number of forum threads sharing step by step directions if needed. You could also publish for CD and send the users a copy via email, burn to a CD or USB or similar to download and play off their local drive.

Hope that helps!

Hi Christine! There are several easy ways to share you courses including:

Tempshare (good for 10 days & free)
Google Drive (free) See this article "how to host your courses for free on Google Drive"
SCORM Cloud (100mb free) http:// cloud.scorm.com
You can then link to any of these from LinkedIn or anywhere else.

Hope that helps,

Mike
