Is there a way to let users left-click and mark objects? Let's imagine we would make a software simulation of PowerPoint. There are two objects on a slide, the user should left-click, keep the mouse button pressed and pull that (mostly blue) mark-area over the two objects. If he releases the mouse button and the two objects are within the mark area, it should trigger some action.
I know there are work arounds like using "CMD A" or a right click menu, but tgats not what I am looking for.
Does anybody know a way to do that?

That sounds like a really innovative way to use markers. Unfortunately, that feature is not available in Storyline at the moment. We'd love for you to share your idea by submitting a feature request.
