I am just trying to create a straightforward animation from center screen to left for roughly 8 objects synchronously. A bunch of stuff comes in center stage, then needs to move to the left (together) thats all.
There has got to be a better way than freehand editing all of the motion path for each of my objects to try and get them all to align properly. This "should be" a 10 second animation job. what am i doing wrong?
Assuming by "synchronously" you mean "simultaneously" then this should work. If you can group them, you can add a motion path to the group rather than each item individually.
It should be, but until we can have some control over paths, it isn't. Can you imagine how easy it would be if we could copy or even edit paths?
In the mean time, if you can getg a group to behave and respond like you want, group them. If not, you can create one object and adjust its path to what you want, then duplicate it. That will copy the path exactly, then "all" you have to do is right click the object, and change the object (or picture), and edit the trigger to refer to the new object, and its own path.
