Some illustrated characters have visual artifacts - see picture

Some illustrated characters have visual artifacts in the form of a LINE thru the neck and color area.
I've tried replacing the charter with others and back again, and deleting and adding again, but no luck. Also Some characters are OK. Just the ones I want have trouble!

Hi Tim,
When I've seen characters that were "decapitated" before - a bit more extreme than your line example, it was associated with the DPI setting of the computer - so you'll want to make sure you have a DPI setting of 96.
I just tried inserting the same character/pose/position - and I do see a color difference between his "chest" in the V of his shirt, and his head, but it seems to be based on turning him left or right - and it's not as pronounced a line as you showed here.
